Description

The Countryman border spade is the perfect choice when space is tight, typically between established plants in a garden border or vegetable patch.

The small head of this tool make it ideal for working in flower beds and for planting smaller shrubs or for someone who finds larger tools difficult to use because of the weight.

The head is manufactured from heat treated (hardened) carbon steel to provide both strength and durability. Powder coated finish provides improved resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkalines in the soil.

Fitted with a double riveted, European Ash handle supplied from FSC® sustainable resources. These are then lacquered for protection against the weather and fitted with an ergonomic soft grip.

The angled hilts have been designed so that the hand remains in a natural position. This helps to reduce strain on the hand and wrist and sets the blade at the ideal digging angle to reduce back strain.

All of our products are available for Local Delivery. Ordering multiple 'Sheet Material' products may require an additional delivery charge if more than one delivery is required. We will contact you if this is the case.

 Items such as bags of sand, compost, cement & postfix, do have an order limit. We can only deliver up to 25 bags in one delivery. Additional items will have an additional delivery charge. (This applies to any product that can picked up & carried 1 or 2 at a time)

Local Delivery Service is same day if ordered 1 hour before closing time. This Excludes Thursdays ( No Deliveries on Thursdays & Sundays ) See our opening times here.
