Suitable for baking, boiling, chipping, mashing & roasting

Desiree produce oval red skinned tubers with pale yellow flesh. Heavy cropper and early bulking. High resistance to drought & good resistance to potato virus Y and powdery scab. Susceptible to potato cyst nematode and mis-shapes on heavy soils. Moderately susceptible to spraing and mild mosaic viruses. Medium dry matter, firm cooked texture, good boiling, frying and mashing quality.

All of our products are available for Local Delivery. Ordering multiple 'Sheet Material' products may require an additional delivery charge if more than one delivery is required. We will contact you if this is the case.

Items such as bags of sand, compost, cement & postfix, do have an order limit. We can only deliver up to 25 bags in one delivery. Additional items will have an additional delivery charge. (This applies to any product that can picked up & carried 1 or 2 at a time)

Local Delivery Service is same day if ordered 1 hour before closing time. This Excludes Thursdays ( No Deliveries on Thursdays & Sundays ) See our opening times here.

Lawrences Delivery Service (Outside our local catchment area) is Wednesdays Only if ordered before 11.30am on Wednesday
