Description

Tulipa ‘Winnipeg’ is a multi-flowering tulip variety producing beautiful golden yellow petals with a feathered scarlet stripe down the middle.

Blooming in April and May, these bulbs tend to grow to a height of around 25cm/10″ with discreetly mottled, broad green leaves.

These naturalising spring bulbs will return to flower, year after year, in borders, around shrubs and conifers and in containers on terraces and balconies. They can also be dispersed through grass in order to gradually naturalise over time producing swathes of early season colour. Regardless of location, they should ideally be planted together in groups for the greatest visual impact.

‘Winnipeg’ tulip bulbs are able to be grown in almost any soil, be it acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage. Look for an area of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.

All of our products are available for Local Delivery. Ordering multiple 'Sheet Material' products may require an additional delivery charge if more than one delivery is required. We will contact you if this is the case.

 Items such as bags of sand, compost, cement & postfix, do have an order limit. We can only deliver up to 25 bags in one delivery. Additional items will have an additional delivery charge. (This applies to any product that can picked up & carried 1 or 2 at a time)

This product is available for in store collection. Please allow at least 1 hour of preparation time for orders. You will be emailed once your order is ready to be collected.

Shipping is via Royal Mail. We use their shipping costs to make sure you receive the most reliable price.
